Something New is Coming!
Love Unscripted
Hello Friends,
Exciting changes are on the horizon for Unscripted, and I think you’ll really enjoy them. As you know, I enjoy experimenting with new ideas. Yogiventure was created from my passion for hiking and yoga. Recently, I’ve been delving into topics like love, relationships, singlehood, and beyond.
If you’ve been here since the beginning, you know this Substack was born from my decision to write my own script, to figure out who I am at 65, to find my voice, and to live on my own terms. Natasha Bedingfield’s song “Unwritten” says it all! I’m staring at a blank page.
Along the way, many of you have shared your thoughts with me in the comments, in my DMs, in person, or by quietly forwarding these posts to a friend. Please continue!
You’re also navigating something — maybe a marriage or relationship that ended, a partner you lost, years spent raising kids or building a career — and now you’re looking up and thinking, “Who am I now, and is there still room for love?” I believe there is.
So, this July, I’m launching something I’ve never done before, and honestly, something I don’t think anyone else is doing quite like this.
Introducing Love Unscripted: a live matchmaking show right here on Substack designed for people in their 50s, 60s, and 70s.
Here’s how it works: each week, I’ll go live and introduce you to one real single person, someone who’s ready to be seen, heard, and possibly found. We’ll talk, you’ll get to know them, and once we’ve introduced enough people, you—my community—will be part of them, matching.
No roses. No drama. No 20-somethings pretending they’re ready to get married after two weeks. Just real people. Real stories and a little bit of magic.
I’m going to be honest, I’m a little nervous about this. It’s new territory, but the best things in my life have happened when I stopped waiting for permission to try something. More details are coming soon.
In the meantime, I’d love to hear whether you’ll watch, participate, or know someone interested in becoming a contestant. Drop a comment to let me know. Spread the word. It really helps me plan, and you’ll be the first to know when the door opens.
Stay tuned and join the excitement with me!
That’s it for now.
Until next Friday….
